We estimate there are around 5 million victims of cybercrime and online harm in the UK every year. The impact on victims’ mental health, online confidence, financial security, and personal safety is huge.
The Cyber Helpline supports 2,500 victims a month, but we are only scratching the surface of cybercrime in the UK. To help the tens of thousands of victims a month we need to grow fast. As a charity, we have cybersecurity experts who want to volunteer with us, but we don’t have the resources to bring them on board. Can you help us get there?

How to join
Every volunteer we train is a meaningful investment in our mission. Once trained, each one goes on to directly support a significant number of victims over the course of a year — providing free, expert help to people recovering from cybercrime and online harm. That means hundreds of individuals, and often their families, getting the support they need to recover and move forward.
