Scam Alert: Fake "Fund Recovery" Services Impersonating The Cyber Helpline
We've been made aware of a fraudulent "Fund Recovery Agreement" circulating that uses The Cyber Helpline's name and branding. It offers to investigate, locate, and recover stolen funds — including cryptocurrency — in exchange for a percentage-based fee once funds are "recovered." The document may reference fabricated staff names, use AI-generated profile photos on fake LinkedIn or social media profiles, and refer to AI-powered analysis tools to make the offer appear credible.
