New Partnership With Friends Against Scams: Together Against Cybercrime

We're excited to announce our new partnership with Friends Against Scams, a National Trading Standards initiative working to protect people from scams across the UK. Together, we've created a cybercrime factsheet to help individuals understand the threats they face online, who is most at risk, and where to turn for support.

Cybercrime is now one of the most common types of crime in the UK — with online and cyber-enabled offences making up 58% of all crime in England and Wales and more than 5 million people affected in 2025 alone. Yet despite how widespread it is, many victims still feel embarrassed, unsure where to turn, or don't even realise what happened to them was a crime. Together with Friends Against Scams, we want to change that — and we believe that by combining our expertise, we can help more people and make a real difference.

Read our cybercrime factsheet here to find out what cybercrime is, who is most at risk, and what to do if you've been targeted.
