One hour of your pay could provide a lifeline to a victim in a moment of distress.

On 25 October 2026, the clocks go back and the UK gains an extra hour. We're asking our supporters to give the value of that hour to fund one-to-one support from a cybersecurity expert for someone facing cybercrime, fraud or online harm.

Every month, thousands of people come to The Cyber Helpline because they're facing hacking, scams or online threats and don't know where else to turn. Behind every case is a real person who needs practical help to understand what's happened, contain the damage, recover from harm and learn how to stay safe online. Our trained cybersecurity volunteers give their time and expertise so that no one has to face the aftermath of cybercrime alone.

This October, we're asking you to donate the equivalent of just one hour of your pay, and help us keep our service free for the people who need it.

What your hour could do

Your hour could help someone:

Understand how they're being stalked online, and take steps to protect their devices.

Take the right steps to recover stolen funds after being targeted by a scam.

Secure a compromised account before more damage is done.

Preserve vital evidence needed to report a crime.

It could be the first step towards regaining control, and feeling safe online again.
