CyberCycle: Riding to Raise Funds for Victims of Cybercrime

At The Cyber Helpline, we're thrilled to share an exciting event in collaboration with the cybersecurity community - CyberCycle!

Riders from across the cyber community are joining forces and assembling a team to cycle from Cheltenham to Birmingham (60-miles) to coincide with CyberUK.

This cycling event aims to raise money and awareness for our cause while promoting cybersecurity awareness across the country.

Why CyberCycle?

CyberCycle started because community members wanted to support individuals fallen victim to cybercrime & online harm and help The Cyber Helpline. When they heard about the work we do, they decided to take action and create CyberCycle during the CYBERUK events!

Cycling was chosen as a fundraising event because it offers a dynamic and engaging way to bring people together while raising awareness and funds. It provides an opportunity for participants to challenge themselves physically while supporting a meaningful cause, allowing a sense of community and camaraderie among participants.

When and Where?

On Sunday, May 12th, cyclists will ride from Cheltenham to Birmingham, ending at the ICC for CyberUK 2024. Covering about 60 miles, this ride will include both experienced cyclists and beginners, all riding for a purpose.
