The Cyber Helpline is a fast-growth not-for-profit organisation supporting victims of cybercrime and online malicious behaviour. Our vision is ‘A world where the cyber criminals don’t win and our mission is to ‘ensure all individuals in the UK have immediate, free access to cyber expertise when they need it’.

Role Summary

The Digital Marketing & Campaigns Executive will be responsible for executing the key marketing strategies. This role is key to The Cyber Helpline hitting its goal of helping as many victims of cybercrime & online harm as possible. This individual will create, execute and measure a range of marketing campaigns that fit within our marketing plan.

Key Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing & Campaigns Executive will:

  • Creating awareness of The Cyber Helpline’s service to victims of cybercrime and online harm in the UK

  • Raising awareness of volunteering and sponsorship opportunities with individuals and organisations in the IT and cybersecurity sectors

  • Supporting the conversion of services users to donors and from donors to recurring donors

  • Support effective search engine optimisation and marketing - and help deliver effective web journeys

  • Driving a strong social media presence and engagement

  • Working with sponsors and partners to drive joint marketing campaigns

  • Measuring and reporting on campaign performance

Person Specification

Essential

  • Passion about our mission of supporting victims of cybercrime

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to create time to volunteer consistently week to week

  • Based in the UK

  • Experience working in a digital marketing or marketing campaigns role

  • Working knowledge of social media marketing tactics

  • Understanding of search engine optimisation and search tracking

Preferred, but not necessary

  • Exposure to marketing in the IT or cybersecurity industry

  • Experience volunteering and/or working with volunteers
