Teeing Up for Cybercrime Victims

One sunny Wednesday morning late last year, cybersecurity consulting firm SecurIT360 rallied together US sponsors and supporters to help raise vital funds for The Cyber Helpline.

Driving change on and off the course

Business and technology leaders came together to tee off in a high-stakes golf tournament spanning 18 holes at Highland Park in Birmingham, Alabama. Here, people networked, played golf, and had fun, all whilst raising money for victims of cybercrime. The day kicked off with several holes and an opportunity to network over lunch, followed by more holes, and an awards ceremony.

The Result

SecurIT360’s fundraiser successfully raised over $10,000+ which has directly supported 1,000 victims so far. Just incredible.

With generous support from organizations like SecurIT360, The Cyber Helpline has built a US team made up of volunteers and partners to support cybercrime victims in the USA. Each month, hundreds of victims are left to fend for themselves and don’t know where to turn. That’s why they come to us for help, and thousands more access our cybersecurity guides. We want to keep extending our service to those who desperately need it, but it takes a community to get there.

What’s Next

This tournament was such a resounding success, that we are excited to share there will be another tournament on June 11 2025 - this time, in Chicago! So if you are in the US and would like to take part, you can get involved and register to secure your spot. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or a novice on the course, your presence is important, and will have a positive impact.

There are of course other ways to support The Cyber Helpline if golfing isn’t for you. You can:
