Charity of the year 2021!

We won! Last night at The National Cyber Awards The Cyber Helpline was crowned Charity of the Year 2021!

The event included speakers from the Home Office, National Crime Agency, National Police Chiefs’ Council and the United Nations. Award categories spanned a range of areas in cyber including academic, police, business, innovation and charities. The awards are a celebration of organisations and individuals who are committed to cyber innovation, cyber crime reduction and protecting citizens online.

Our Founder & CEO, Rory Innes, was at the black-tie event in West London and was able to collect the award on behalf of The Cyber Helpline team.

Rory said, “What an honour to be able to accept this award on behalf of the team. The Cyber Helpline is about the cyber community coming together to fill the gap in support for victims of cybercrime and I couldn’t be more proud of the team and the impact they have had on victims. A huge thank you to those who nominated us and to The National Cyber Awards for recognising the work we are doing. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners.”.
